Eltham Phoenix Rotary Club is one of the youngest clubs in District 1120, having been officially chartered on 1st May 2002. It is a forum for men and women of all ages with a sense of community, who feel that there is more to life than work.
I am proud to be the President for 2008-2009 and will be supporting the Rotary Jaipur Limb Centre, Cancer Research UK and School4All as well as the club's existing charities; Demelza Child, Greenwich & Bexley Hospice and Greenwich Women’s Aid. We will again be supporting Eltham Lights-Up and other events in the local area. We are a growing and diverse club who welcome people from all backgrounds. Have a good look at our Website for a taste of what we and you can do. I believe a happy Rotarian is a successful Rotarian.
Peter was previously President of Crayford Rotary Club in 1976/77 and District Governor of 1120 in 1992/93. He is a retired dentist and is also a member of Crayford Probus Club. He enjoys the outdoor life and can often be seen on one of his motor bikes. He will be riding around Britain in September to raise money for the Jaipur Limb Centre.
